If you are aged 18–35 and have experience in public, civic or political life, EDYN invites you to apply. Your work to date and your willingness to contribute actively to the network matter.

Before you apply, prepare

  1. Your basic details and CV

    The form asks for personal and contact details and a CV upload: one supported file, no larger than 10 MB.

  2. Why would you like to join EDYN?

    Explain your motivation in 150–250 words.

  3. An example of your work in the community

    Describe an initiative, project or activity through which you strengthened participation, democratic values or your community, and explain your role. Maximum 200 words.

  4. Your perspective and experience of collaboration

    Prepare two separate answers: one on the biggest challenge facing democracy in your country, and one on an experience of collaborating with people from different backgrounds, sectors or perspectives and what you learned from it. Each answer should be no longer than 150 words.

Before you decide

Is this membership of IDP?

No. This is an application to the European Democracy Youth Network (EDYN). The Institute for Demographic Future helps present the opportunity to young people from Slovenia. You apply directly to EDYN.

Do I need to belong to a particular political party?

The invitation is not limited to one political orientation or party. EDYN welcomes young people from public, civic and political life who share democratic values and a willingness to collaborate.

Who receives my application data?

EDYN manages the application form through Google Forms. IDP does not collect applications or CVs on this page. Before submitting, read the personal data processing notice in the official form.

Are participation in all events and travel costs guaranteed?

The invitation provided does not include these guarantees. Check the terms of individual opportunities, any membership fees and expense coverage directly with EDYN through its official website.

IDP’s role: we help share the invitation in Slovenia and connect young people with international opportunities. EDYN decides on member selection and how membership operates.
