Privacy policy
What personal data we process, for what purposes, on which legal basis and what rights you have.
1. Scope
This policy covers demografskaprihodnost.si, email communication, programme and project applications, and other enquiries received by IDP. We do not sell personal data or use it for behavioural advertising.
2. Data and purposes
Communication
We process your name, contact details, message, attachments and email metadata to respond, consider cooperation or another request, and keep necessary business records.
Applications
We process data provided by a candidate, in particular identity and contact details, education, interests and experience, only to assess the application, communicate and deliver the programme.
Optional public presentation
A name, photograph, educational details, short biography or participation information is published only for each item covered by separate, freely given consent. Refusal does not affect an application or participation.
Website operation
The hosting provider may process IP address, request time, requested URL, browser type, errors and security data to deliver and protect the site. Google Fonts may receive technical data required to deliver external font files.
Public tools
Inputs in current calculators are processed locally in the browser and are not sent to IDP. The care-home tool retrieves public data without IDP receiving user calculations.
3. Legal bases
- steps before entering into a contract or performance of an agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR);
- legitimate interests in communication, operations, documentation, security and reliable website delivery (Article 6(1)(f));
- compliance with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c));
- consent for individual optional publications or another specifically defined purpose (Article 6(1)(a)).
4. Retention
- general communication: until a matter is complete and thereafter as reasonably required to document agreements or handle claims;
- unsuccessful applications: normally no longer than six months after the procedure, unless longer retention is consented to or otherwise lawful;
- selected participants: during cooperation and thereafter for applicable statutory and evidentiary periods;
- data published on consent: until consent is withdrawn or the publication purpose ends.
Accounting, contractual and other records are retained for periods required by applicable law.
5. Recipients and transfers
Only authorised IDP personnel access the data. Necessary recipients may include hosting, email and IT providers, professional advisers and competent authorities where required by law. Where a provider may process data outside the EEA, valid international-transfer safeguards are used.
6. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing. Consent may be withdrawn at any time as easily as it was given, without affecting prior lawful processing. We may verify identity before acting on a request.
You may complain to the Slovenian Information Commissioner, Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, www.ip-rs.si. The site does not use automated decision-making or profiling.
7. Updates
We update this policy when processing, providers or legal requirements change. The current version is always published here.
